Description

Ocean Optics Maya 2000 series of miniature, high-sensitivity spectrometers are particularly suited to low light-level, UV-sensitive applications such as fluorescence, DNA sequencing and Raman analysis.

The Maya 2000 series consists of the Maya 2000 and the Maya 2000-Pro. Both these miniature spectrometers feature back-thinned 2D FFT-CCD area image sensors which offer high UV response, great signal-to-noise characteristics and wide dynamic range, making them especially suited to low light level applications.
While the Maya 2000 and the Maya 2000-Pro offer similar performance for most parameters, the Maya 2000 has a slightly faster readout time while the Maya 2000-Pro provides better dynamic range and signal-to-noise ratio. Both spectrometers feature 90% quantum efficiency, optical resolution to 0.035nm (FWHM), USB 2.0 interface, 14 grating options and 6 slit width options.
