Have you ever lost track of your Ocean Insight spectrometer system parameters? Here’s a simple tool in OceanView software to help you find key optical configuration details including slit size and wavelength range, plus the spectrometer firmware version and unit serial number.
1 - Open OceanView software and select the Schematic Window. This identifies your spectrometer model.

2 - In the Schematic Window graphic, highlight your instrument icon and double left-click it.

3 - A window will appear with details of your instrument configuration, plus the firmware version and spectrometer serial number.
