Omicron's Laser and LED based light sources have been successfully integrated into MetaMorph.

 

MetaMorph Microscopy Automation & Image Analysis Software is an industry standard for automated microscope acquisition, device control, and image analysis, bringing microscopists greater understanding of cell morphology, function, and behaviour for over 25 years.

It is ideal for easily integrating dissimilar fluorescent microscope hardware and peripherals into a single custom workstation, while providing all the tools needed to perform meaningful analysis of acquired images. The software offers many user-friendly application modules for biology-specific analysis such as cell signalling, cell counting, and protein expression. Users can now benefit from integrated control of Omicron's products for wavelength selection and intensity control within the microscope management package.


The following Omicron products can be controlled by MetaMorph:


- LuxX, LuxX+, PhoxX and PhoxX+ diode lasers
- BrixX diode lasers
- LedHUB Multicolor LED Light Engines
- LEDMOD High-Power LED modules
- xX-lasers inside LightHUB Compact Laser Combiners
- xX-lasers inside SOLE Laser Light Engines


The MetaMorph driver will be coming with each product on the software USB stick.
